Late post/new YouTube channel.

Hello guys, I’m so late with this post, actually my post was originally suppose to be about my favorite Netflix movies but some how I spent most of my Sunday editing a video for my new YouTube channel, so I have two channels at the moment but I’m trying something new so I started a new channel last night. I will be posting videos once a week or at least I’m going to try, I’m sorry this post is all over the place and a little rushed. I will definitely post about my Netflix movies today when I get home.

Some of my favorite meals/ what I’ve been eating lately.

Ok guys so I’m back on this lovely Monday, I’m still not feeling well so my appetite is kind of all over the place( not eating a lot but drinking plenty of water) so I wanted to share with you some foods I love to cook since I been on this health journey/ I’m missing the gym a lot but being sick I can’t go been way to weak and tired. I’ll get back on track soon.

favorite dinner dishes..

The pictures used are not my actual cooking/ one day I will take pics of my own to show (just gotta remember to do it) just letting it be known so no one thinks I’m taking credit for the pictures. Whoever did make the food it looks good, I’m taking notes but yes these are foods I make.

1.salmon w/ baked potato and mixed veggies.

This is one of my favorites literally it’s super healthy and I won’t lie I been eating a lot of seafood lately this is so yummy, I never put too much seasoning on it and the veggies taste great. (I normally boil or steam my vegetables) and I try to eat all fresh vegetables not too much can items.

2.baked chicken w/ asparagus and brown rice.

This dish is so yummy and healthy, brown rice is not the best tasting but it’s really healthy and good for you,( when I make it for my dad I add seasoning to his because he hates the taste) I however eat it plain, also I been eating so much chicken lately surprised I haven’t turned into one. Clearly whoever made this did a great presentation, I need to take notes.

3. Toss salad

So sometimes I’ll eat this with chicken in it other times I’ll eat it with no meat, it really all depends what mood I’m in or what my taste buds are in that moment. Salads are really good health wise and also Italian dressing is really good to go with it, it doesn’t have a lot of calories in it and it taste good.

4.shrimp

I love shrimp, I make this all the time usually I’ll eat it with rice or have it with mix veggies and as always it’s so so good. It’s also very light. I like foods that don’t sit on my stomach because who really wants to feel full all day long, not me! So I try to eat things that are light as possible.

Favorite breakfast dishes..

1.

I eat this a lot for breakfast on the weekends and it’s so good people think that turkey anything is nasty but it’s actually not it’s pretty good and even better for you them eating beef or pork. I get this at Walmart for 3.89 not a bad price and it’s worth the taste trust me.

2.

I love love these rice cakes they are so good I have two bags here at home and I eat this a lot on my way to work in the morning it’s light so you may want to eat two if your someone who doesn’t fill up easy, I usually eat one as I’m getting my daughter ready in the morning also the Carmel flavor is good too.

3.

My nutritionist got me hooked on this cereal when she put it on my meal plan and I been in love since, I don’t even like almonds that much however they taste so good in this cereal also I use almond milk in my cereal it’s way better for you then regular milk or either I do skim milk it all taste good. I actually need to go buy another box of this soon.

4.turkey bacon

I remember first trying this a few years back and thinking this was not the best tasting bacon but since I’ve been eating it on my meal plan it’s actually not half bad,it actually taste really good and since I’ve cut out beef and pork it’s a great substitute, no one in my house likes this bacon but me so I’m on my own but hey more for me and less for them.

I know what your thinking boiled eggs are gross and they smell bad, well I’m here to say nope your wrong they are actually really good and healthier for you then eating a fried egg, this is the only way I will eat my eggs lately or I’ll do egg whites that I buy in a carton it’s all healthier for you and it doesn’t taste bad either I’ll sprinkle some pepper on it and go right in to eat.

The conclusion..

So basically these are some of the foods that I have been eating a lot here lately, it’s all about being healthy and eating in moderation and as I always say “cheat days are ok” sometimes too don’t be too hard on yourself. I will also be posting about my favorite snacks I’ve been eating (tomorrow) so look out for it. I hope you all are having a great Monday night, get great sleep and don’t work too hard. My top 5 love/romance movies.

Ok, so I know this is motivation Monday but we can always turn this into some love moments too right? So I’m sitting here thinking like why not share my favorite movies with you and why I love them so much, yes I’m a hopeless romantic, love makes the world go round. Ok ok enough of my rambling let’s get in to it.

Top 5

1. a walk to remember-

I fell in love with this movie for one because many Moore was in it and let me say Shane west killed his role as the loving bad boy. The movie really touched my heart in so many ways, it teaches you to be kind to others always and never judge a book by its cover although Shane West’s character came off a little rough around the edges he was actually a good guy who had a lot of love to give and Mandy Moore played the preaches daughter she was a good girl and I think they balanced each other out.

Ps: if you never seen this movie the ending is so sad but by now I’m sure most people have seen it( I even have it on dvd) love this movie definitely giving this five starts across the board.

2. Dear John-

Channing Tatum killed this role gave me the whole bad boy persona and then of course he left and I cried like a baby, Amanda Seyfried was beautiful as alway in this film she played her role so well plus this is the perfect love story and it ties into long distance relationships( one of my previous post) can they last? And how most people deal with them. It always goes to show you have to cherish the times you have with people because you never know what’s going to happen.

3.Romeo & Juliet-

This is such a classic love story the montagues and capulets it’s so beautiful seeing how Romeo and Juliet truly loved each other. Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes played these roles so well , I loved that they made a modern day version of this movie and I love how true love is seen in a different way/light. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to loving or liking someone who comes from a different background and maybe your family or friends don’t like that person or don’t see their potential but you do and true love is always worth fighting for only thing that I didn’t like was how it ended wish it was a better solution then, them both losing their lives.

4.Cruel intentions-

I know most people might be like this isn’t romance but in my opinion it is once you look pass everything that happened in the movie plus Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe made such a cute couple. ( not to mention he was super cute) I love how it all started out as a bet but as time went on he started to fall in love with her and wanted to change who he was to be with her, it’s always those un expected love stories that mean the most because you know your fighting for something that’s worth it, I wish his step sister hadn’t got all in the way but at least in the end Reese’s character can remember all the good times she had with him and she got the car so can’t go wrong with that either, Love is love.

5.raise your voice/a cinderella story

Ok so I kinda threw two movies in there sorry guys I loved both, so Hilary duff has an amazing singing/acting career and I absolutely loved her in these movies raise your voice was so sad when her brother passed away but she persevered and went on to her performing arts school, focused on her music and met a cute guy that accepted her for her even with the few bumps in the road they made their relationship work, a Cinderella story was so good it goes back to Cinderella and those wicked step sisters a modern day version but it’s so good, she was a great girl who only wanted the best for herself after her father passed but she got stuck with a wicked step mother and step sisters. I loved how in the end her and chad Michael Murray’s character make it all work out and it should let people know love does exist so never give up on it no matter what. (Also guys remember you are beautiful and don’t let no one tell you different.

Ok so these are my top 5 + 6 movies that I love and own most of these on dvd, yes I’m a sucker for a good love story and I live for a happy ending. I know that love does exist and if you don’t have it now one day you will (be patient) whatever your looking for is on its way. So In honor of motivation Monday remember to keep pushing ,stay motivated and love hard always/live with no regrets, it may not work out all the time but trust me the right person is out there(I’m a firm believer in soulmates) but I’ll save that for another post, enjoy the rest of this motivation Monday!

Motivation Monday.

I’m so proud of myself because I been avoiding the gym for a while but this morning, I got up and went bright and early at 5am, it was cold but I made myself get up and I went out the door. I go to the ymca and I love it because it’s small also I live in a small town so you pretty much see everybody who lives in town there, it’s great to go do something you love and relax and it helps me relieve some stress as well.

I been trying to eat healthier lately and I’ve gotten back on the plan my nutritionist picked for me so that’s been going very well so far. I make sure to eat three meals a day and to snack in between usually something healthy like fruit,yogurt or almonds. (Whatever else my body craves) I don’t really have a particular snack or a favorite one, it really all depends on what I’m in the mood for. I’m not going to lie, I have cheat days sometimes too it’s normal were human it happens.

Sometimes it gets hard and I wanna give up and I look around me and I see my friends or people around me losing weight and sticking to it and then theirs me who gets frustrated and says “the hell with this” but as always I end up right back on track because not everyday is going to be easy but you have to keep pushing and stay motivated even getting a trainer or having a life coach may help, whatever works for you go for it.

I love the fact that my mom is my gym partner and we belong to the same gym so when i need a push she’s right there to motivate me and we’re on the same diet plan so it works out for me. Whenever you have a good person in your corner to motivate you take that and always be grateful because when we allow negativity to take over we tend to not accomplish the things that we know can be accomplished with positivity and the right people around us. So always try to remain positive even when it seems hopeless.

Today is motivation Monday and I’m committing myself to doing better and leaving all the negativity behind me, I’m going to start going to the gym 3x a week and continue on eating healthy and it’s not all for weight it’s also to lead a healthy lifestyle not only for me but for my daughter so remember to stay motivated and that you can achieve anything you want to with hard work and lots of dedication and never let anyone tell you it’s not possible because it is always.
